The Butterfly Ball was created to serve as CLF’s major fundraiser.
Dr. Janette Hoston Harris loved and painted butterflies. Our founder, Junie Harris saw them as the symbol of what this organization is trying to accomplish, take a young person, give them the needed attention and watch them grow and spread their wings.
That is the most beautiful sight. The fact that no two butterflies are the same and they come in different shapes and hues.
This event is a celebration of Dr. Jan’s life and those who she touched and influenced, give out our annual scholarships to the organizations we fund and celebrate successful partnerships.
