2nd Annual Butterfly Ball – A Virtual Ball Experience

The Butterfly Ball is an annual fundraiser for the Consortium Leadership Foundation’s scholarship and programs.

As the country is changing, we are adapting to this virtual world. Beautiful things come from change and tonight we celebrate the change we are making with our future leaders. We are celebrating their Metamorphosis.

We ask that you come and enjoy a very special evening of music, dancing at home, special performances, and giveaways. We will have tributes by some of the present and past participants. In addition, the Harris Scholars Program will recognize the late Dr. Rudolph Harris who would have celebrated his 85th birthday on this day.

The Butterfly Ball was created because Dr. Janette Hoston Harris loved to paint butterflies because of their beauty and uniqueness. Butterflies start out as caterpillars and morph under a protective cocoon to become a beautiful butterfly. At CLF, we view our youth as caterpillars in need of some protective help to reach their full potential. We celebrate the differences and paths they can take to gain their own power.

Consortium Leadership Foundation (CLF) a 501(c) 3 organization.

The Consortium Leadership Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to teaching leadership skills, empowering youth to lead, and providing financial assistance to organizations through scholarships and mentoring, which will ensure the next generation of leaders are being inspired to change the world. The Consortium’s belief begins with taking action, teaching our students to be confident leaders, and inspiring them to create a productive future. We lead from the front!

Started by Junie Janette Harris, who was inspired by her parents Drs. Rudolph and Janette Hoston Harris, The Consortium Leadership Foundation’s mission is to create confident leaders and to ensure they are successful. We specialize in those who are interested in the non-traditional fields of entertainment where we are often left out and overlooked.  Our organization will work with educational, social, and grassroots organizations to provide training for youth, from high school to recent collegiate graduates.

The Consortium partners with several local organizations. CLF will recognize partner organizations and present financial gifts from the Harris Scholars Program, during the Inaugural Butterfly Ball. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the ball will go directly to the Harris Scholars Program.

If you would like to donate to the CLF but are unable to attend the Inaugural Butterfly Ball, please make your donation here.
